Rosemary was born in Adelaide and moved to Melbourne at a young age, where she studied tonal realism with the aid of Dandenong artist, Mr. John Balmain.
In 1982 she started painting professionally and went on to form her own art school. Rosemary has won numerous awards and has her work represented in Australia as well as overseas.
Rosemary is best known for her figure and portrait works. She paints portraits for public, private and corporate collections. Her most recent portraits, being a portrait of the Cranbourne Christian College’s headmistress and a portrait commission for Vision Australia.
Rosemary works in oil, charcoal and pastel and is represented in the Australian Artists Magazine.
