Review in The Sydney Morning Herald (Dec’09): “On the hot day of my visit, Dee Jackson’s watercolours … coolly interpreted the coastline. GENERAL NEWS
REPORT: Our Annual Arty Party 2010 was a huge success. PAA artists, their families and friends took pleasure in food, wine and excellent company on a summer’s evening overlooking one of the world’s most beautiful harbours. Many guests enjoyed a few hours sketching the model.
A thank you to our esteemed patron Paul Delprat who made JAAS at Middle Harbour Artists’ Colony available for the event. Thanks to Nafisa for organising the venue and the model, special thanks to Alex and Marilyn for bringing a tasty triple smoked ham, and to all the others who brought delicacies. It was so good to catch up with everyone and thank you to the members who traveled long distances to be there (including Central Coast and Bathurst). Those who were unable to make it – you were missed! Please make a note in your diaries for January 2011 for the next PAA Arty Party!!! (just before Australia Day.)
