PROFILE
Cristina Aura was born in Romania to an artist mother. She attended a Visual Arts High School and thereafter the ‘Ion Andreescu’ Institute for Visual Arts, where she received her Masters Degree in Painting. At this time she relocated to Algeria.
In Algeria Cristina pursued her artistic and teaching career and held numerous solo and group exhibitions.
In 1989, Cristina and her family migrated to Australia and lives in North Sydney. She has since worked in as an Art Teacher in several High Schools and Institutions, while at the same time continuing to build a body of work in painting. Cristina’s paintings are in private collections in Australia, France, Algeria and Romania.
