ARTIST’S STATEMENT
“I was born in Melbourne and grew up in Adelaide, and after deciding on a career in commercial art, I enrolled in the Adelaide School of Arts. Although I have had a long career in the hospitality industry with my husband I have always maintained a solid practice in painting, both landscape and portraits.”
TRAINING
I studied Landscape painting with Leonard Long in my teens. I studied portraiture with Yve Close and Joshua Smith at their Lane Cove School. I have also studied with with Alan Hansen, Judy Pennyfather, Alan Somerville, and Nafisia Naomi at the Royal Art Society in North Sydney
EXHIBITIONS
I am currently an exhibiting member of the Royal Art Society, Portrait Artists Australia, the Mosman Art Society and the Lane Cove Art Society.
